Lady Gaga launched her Born This Way Foundation at Harvard University in February.

She may be bold enough to rock a dress made of meat on the red carpet, but superstar and international pop sensation Lady Gaga admitted to Oprah Winfrey she often feels ?worthless? despite her success and fame.
Appearing Sunday night on ?Oprah?s Next Chapter? on Winfrey's OWN network, the singer discussed being bullied as a kid and the impact it?s had on her self-esteem and personal call-to-action as a celebrity activist.?The singer says?schoolmates threw trash at her?and?called her a ?slut,? and those memories inspire her to promote empowerment through her music and to further anti-bullying initiatives.
?All the praise you receive, something inside of you is scarred by those experiences,? said the 25-year-old singer. ?Sometimes I feel worthless.?
Gaga recently invited Winfrey to join her at the Harvard University launch of her Born This Way Foundation, and told the television host her only real fear is for the safety of her family, and the effect her own career choices may have on their lives. The two spoke from the pop star?s childhood home in New York, and were joined briefly by?the singer's?mother.??
While admitting her own desire to have a family, Gaga would not say whether or not she was currently in a relationship, only that she was ?very happy.?
She told Winfrey, "I want kids, I want a soccer team, and I want a husband. Well, I'm being superfluous. I don't want to have one kid. I want to have a few."
Regardless of any self-doubts, Gaga?s career is certainly in full force, and her financial value has only seen an exponential rise. According to the Wall Street Journal, her Twitter account alone is worth an astounding $30 million, and, as noted by Winfrey in the two-hour interview, the singer raked in $90 million in 2011. She will begin the international leg of her ?Born This Way Ball? tour on April 27 in South Korea, making stops throughout Asia and Australia with European and U.S. performances expected for the summer.
And from here on out, the singer tells Winfrey she is cutting off the media.
?Other than this interview, Oprah, I do not intend to speak to anyone for a very long time,? she said.
